Design

Ipno is distinguished by a composition built around light. The transparent optical element occupies the center of the design and appears suspended within the large metal disc. The circular surface gradually rises until it transforms into a cone, visually guiding the cable towards the ceiling. This continuity lends the structure a fluidity and lightens the perception of volume, despite the lamp's large diameter.

Optics and Light Shaping

The central element of Ipno is the transparent methacrylate optic, designed to control and direct the light with an almost immaterial effect. Its transparency allows the light fixture to be observed without the perception of a traditional opaque shield. The light thus seems to take shape directly in the space, generating a surprising and sophisticated visual effect. The integrated 27W 220-240V LED source produces a warm 3000K light, suitable for environments dedicated to conviviality and hospitality. The CRI 90 color rendering index faithfully enhances the colors of furnishings, fabrics, and surfaces. Ipno is dimmable via the Push system, allowing you to adjust the light intensity according to the activities and desired atmosphere. A more intense light can illuminate the dining area or a work surface, while a more moderate setting creates a more intimate and relaxing atmosphere during social moments.

Materials and finishes

The structure is made of aluminum, while the optics are made of transparent methacrylate. The black and gold finish accentuates the depth of the disc and creates a refined contrast between the dark exterior and the warmer, more reflective interior. The black lends a clean and contemporary profile, while the gold helps enhance the light and add a touch of luxury to the composition. The combination of metal and transparency emphasizes the technical nature of the project without compromising its visual lightness.

Versatility and Adaptability

In the dining room, Ipno can be placed over a round or rectangular table, becoming the focal point of the entire composition. The large disc visually defines the area below and creates a direct relationship between light and surface. In an open-plan living space, it can illuminate a conversation area or highlight an architectural feature. The sculptural shape is also suitable for entryways, double-height spaces, and spaces where the lamp can be viewed from multiple perspectives.
