Elas stems from a profound connection with materials and the human body. Its soft surfaces, full volumes, and fluid lines create a seat with a sensual yet restrained character, where every detail contributes to a sophisticated, welcoming, and distinctive aesthetic.

The collection evokes a vision of the home that is both sophisticated and human-centric—a place where design and storytelling converge. The armchair integrates discreetly into a space while maintaining a strong formal identity, thanks to its upholstered shell, carefully balanced proportions, and a swivel base in Bronze-colored metal.

Comfort and functionality

The seat shell features a metal structure embedded in fire-retardant polyurethane foam. Suspension is provided by elastic straps made of synthetic rubber and polypropylene, engineered to offer balanced, comfortable support.

An inner lining of breathable, hypoallergenic thermo-bonded fiber enhances the seating experience, while the seat cushion—made of high-density, multi-density polyurethane foam—ensures generous, well-calibrated comfort. The cushion attaches to the structure via Velcro, ensuring stability and a neat appearance during daily use.

Swivel base

The swivel-base version features a central column and spokes in a glossy Bronze-colored metal finish. The 12 mm thick spokes support the armchair with a slender yet bold profile, adding a touch of luminosity and refinement to the overall design.

The 360° swivel mechanism with a return function makes Elas both functional and dynamic—ideal for conversation areas, living rooms, bedrooms, studies, and lounge spaces where the seat needs to move naturally with the body.

Materials and upholstery

The Elas armchair is available with fabric or leather upholstery, and the cover is fully removable in both versions. The upholstery fabric is bonded to a thermobonded fiber layer backed with white cotton cloth—a construction detail that enhances both the build quality and the seat's soft feel.

In the version with armrests, the backrest cover features distinctive stitching—a tailored detail that highlights the design's craftsmanship and reinforces the armchair's unique character.

Designed for the home, Elas harmonizes beautifully with interior architecture and is equally well-suited for winter gardens and transitional spaces leading outdoors.
