Canisse is the outdoor sofa characterized by a naturalistic and eclettic design, made by Philippe Nigro for Serralunga. Its structure recalls the rushes, in french the "canisse", which stay on the shores of the mediterranean countries. People there used to create hurdles with them, to shelter themselves from the sun and prying eyes. That's how the Canisse sofa seems to create a comfortable repair to the weary traveler, offering comfort in its simple and irregular aesthetic lines. A very particular backrest, able to integrate naturally into any outdoor space or helping to create an eclettic atmosphere within any modern lounge. Structure is made of LLDPE (Linear Low-density Polyethylene), a strong, shockproof and UV resistant material, 100% recyclable. The soft cushions are made of polyurethane foam, also suitable for the outside.
