Block Sideboard

Design

Block reimagines the sideboard as a balance between a pure geometric volume and a base that is visually more solid and tactile. The contrast between the storage unit and the base defines the project, creating a striking yet refined architectural presence.

Its linear structure highlights the surfaces and materials, allowing color, grain, and texture to define the composition's final character.

Functionality and storage

The sideboard features three doors concealing ample storage space, organized with three internal glass shelves.

This layout allows for the organized storage of tableware, glassware, books, accessories, and decorative objects, while keeping the exterior tidy and visually uncluttered.

The glass shelves lighten the visual perception of the interior and facilitate a functional division of space.

Materials and finishes

The MDF structure is available in several options:

Matte lacquer.
Direct gloss lacquer.
Mocha-stained ash.

The lacquered versions offer extensive color customization, while the mocha-stained ash introduces a warmer, more tactile element that highlights the natural beauty of the wood.

Tactile base

The base is available in three finishes:

Concrete.
Travertine marble.
Fossil Green marble.

Each variant distinctly alters the sideboard's character. Concrete emphasizes a more architectural, contemporary aesthetic; travertine introduces natural tones and a warmer presence; while Fossil Green adds chromatic depth and a more dramatic visual impact.

Customizable configuration

The positioning of the storage unit relative to the base is determined during assembly, following the configurations outlined in the technical specifications.

This flexibility allows for adjustments to the relationship between the upper volume and the base, creating either a centered or off-center composition depending on the available space and the desired aesthetic effect.

Versatility and adaptability

Block is ideal for living rooms, dining areas, entryways, and contract environments. It can serve as a storage sideboard, a dining service unit, or a striking decorative feature along a wall.

The variety of finishes allows it to blend seamlessly into diverse design schemes: from minimalist, monochromatic interiors to compositions rich in texture and materiality, featuring stone, marble, wood, and natural surfaces.
